Wines from the Bugey area: Savoy, Ain, Isère and Haute-Savoie

The wines of Savoy have been cultivated since the remote era of the Romans, and today there are twenty-four crus that devote their efforts to caring for their vineyards in order to continue making high quality wines. The vineyards are located on hills and hillsides, and small plots in mountainous areas. Savoy wines are mostly meant to be consumed young, but there are some that improve and exploit their flavours and aromas after 2 or 3 years.
