Partner with the Amics de la Gent Gran association with magnum bottles of “El Veïnat”
December is the month synonymous with celebrating and with happiness, cosy houses and spending time with friends and family. However it is also a difficult and painful month for those who do not have people around them, as they struggle even more with loneliness, especially over the Christmas period, when it is difficult to cope with the absence of loved ones who are no longer with us.
El Veïnat (El Vecindario) is a Garnacha red wine from the D.O. Montsant, in Catalonia, made by Viñedos Singulares, which came about thanks to a helping hand from the locals. Now, in recognition of the selfless support they received, they are working with the Amics de la Gent Gran association that works to make sure the elderly who live alone in the city have company and do not spend their old age alone.
So, Viñedos Singulares has released this limited edition magnum of the “El Veïnat” red wine and for each bottle sold, one euro will be given to the Amics de la Gent Gran association.
This collaboration is also accompanied by a photography project by Cesc Sales through RetratsBCN, who have designed the new label for this limited edition magnum, showing a guide to Barcelona through the eyes of its residents, people who are examples of selfless and altruistic relationships like this project, jointly undertaken by RetratsBCN and Viñedos Singulares with their red wine “El Veïnat”, which is also a way of thanking those anonymous locals who made this wine possible in the first place.
Christmas is the perfect time to open a magnum bottle with friends and family and, with this one, you can also help make sure those who are not able to spend this season with their loved ones like we are, won’t be alone.
Two projects, one great story. With each special edition magnum bottle of the “El Veïnat” wine that you buy, you will be donating to the Amics de la Gent Gran association so that they can continue offering befriending and leisure activities to make sure the city’s elderly residents do not spend their old age alone. Can you help them?
