Veuve Clicquot Vintage in a case
Cava Brut. 60 months in bottle.
Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2015 is a champagne with citrus aromas on the nose (orange, grapefruit, lemon peel) accompanied by notes of pastry, toasted almonds, honey and dried fruits (apricot, date). The palate is energetic and tense, gradually unfolding all its splendour through an excellent structure and unquestionable elegance. Toasted notes of coffee beans and praline appear, finishing with a long, silky and refreshing mid-palate, accompanied by a pleasant minerality.Dry |

Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, better known as Madame de Pompadour, was a very famous French courtesan and mistress of King Louis XV. Her phrase “champagne is the only wine that leaves a woman beautiful after drinking it” made her the No. 1 fan of this sparkling wine. However, she was not the only one. After the French Revolution, another woman became the “Grande Dame de la Champagne”. Madame Cliquot, an entrepreneur and visionary woman, was widowed at the age of 28, and took on her husband’s company and became obsessed with producing high-end champagne. She was the first businesswoman of modern times and turned a small winery in Reims into an empire with the inclusion of the remuage technique, the production of the first vintage champagne and the creation of the first label.
Sourced from exclusive grapes from 21 Grands and Premiers Crus, their Veuve Clicquot Vintage sparkling wine is made mainly of Pinot Noir with a small amount of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Once the wines are vinified, a coupage is made with 11% of wines aged in foudres and following a second fermentation in the bottle and 60 months in the cellar, disgorgement takes place with a dosage of 8 grams per litre.
With its unmistakable yellow label, Veuve Clicquot Vintage is a long-aged champagne that lives up to the brand’s reputation. Glamour, elegance and refinement in equal measure.
