Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is a dry sparkling wine (with less than 6 g/l of sugar), it is defined and has a mainly mineral character. Golden yellow in colour, this is a fresh and smooth sparkling wine with fruit (apple, pear, peach), citrus notes (tangerine, grapefruit) and sweet touches (brioche, croissant). The palate is smooth, with a very fine bubble. A real luxury!

A blend of between 50 and 60 vintages, and up to 45% reserve wine, are the two things that make Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label so special.

Considered the maison’s most emblematic champagne, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is a sparkling wine that is still produced under the winery's motto “Only one quality, the best”, even after several centuries. So, from the outskirts of Reims, in the old chalk quarries (known as crayères), the century-old company Veuve Clicquot continues to surprise us with their wines.

The Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label grapes are grown directly in the best Grands Crûs of the A.O.C. Champagne. In times gone by these plots were chosen by Madame Clicquot herself, the owner and driving force behind this maison. At just 27 years of age, she took on the business when she was widowed. Today this fact remains a constant, where only the best vineyards can be part of this great champagne house. To ensure that the high quality is a constant during the production process, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label always has between 25% and 40% of reserve wine added to it. The master touch will come with three years of aging on lees.
