Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry is an extra brut (0-6 g/L sugar) and fruity sparkling wine. The nose is fresh and sparkling with hints of green apple. On the palate it is sweet, juicy and balanced. Crisp and flavoursome. Very pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink.

About Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry
Upcycling, also known as suprarecycling or creative recycling, is a term that has recently appeared to describe the new trend where an old object is given a new life, adding value to it. That means junk that has been rendered unusable in principle is saved from the bin. Although this word is heavily used in the fashion world, it has also reached the wineries. At least this is what they have shown at La Cantina Pizzolato, in northern Italy (in the province of Veneto), where they have launched M-Use, a collection of sparkling wines, with a tremendously careful design, where the bottles have the chance of a second life or opportunity.
The Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry bubbles are part of this chic and sophisticated family made in the D.O.C. Prosecco. Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry is a sparkling wine made from Glera, a white grape typical of northeastern Italy, which was used by the Romans. Here we find soils rich in calcareous matter, gravels and sands, which facilitate drainage and work perfectly with mild winters (between 13°C-14°C), summers with average temperatures (between 20°C-25°C) and rainfall between 700 and 1,300 mm per year.
The work in the vineyard, currently managed by owner Settimo Pizzolato (fifth generation of the family), is entirely organic, without the use of chemical products. Sustainability is maintained in the winery, equipped with solar panels, where all work follows the same philosophy.
After the harvest in September, Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry is crushed to make the must. After a natural decanting, and when totally clean, Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry is vinified in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation begins there and lasts between 15-20 days at a maximum temperature of 18°C (64°F). After this, the wine is ready for a second fermentation in an autoclave, where it will acquire its wonderful bubbles. Finally, Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry is bottled.
This is where the life of Pizzolato M-Use Bianco Extra Dry really begins, a wine that has much more life left in it even when the bottle is empty. Now there is no excuse not to recycle!
