La Cantina Pizzolato is a family winery with a long history located in Treviso, northern Italy. The current owner, Settimo Pizzolato, follows the principles established by the five generations that have gone before him. These are quality wines that come from a rich estate filled with flowers. The team uses ecological agriculture to maintain the natural balance of the ecosystem.
Pizzolato Prosecco Treviso comes from in vineyards located on the plains and slopes near the Piave river. Vines planted on pebble and highly permeable soils with very good drainage. Organic farming is practiced with no synthetic products and the harvest is manual at the optimal point of ripeness.
After meticulously selecting the Pizzolato Prosecco Treviso grapes, the Italian charmat method is used to begin the winemaking process. This involves fermenting at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks followed by a second fermentation in sealed tanks for 30 days. Finally, it is bottled and released immediately.
