About Casa Castillo Valtosca
Valtosca is a red wine produced by Finca Casa Castillo in the D.O Jumilla.
Casa Castillo Valtosca is 100% produced from the variety Syrah. The vines all originate from the same estate which shares the same as the wine Valtosca, soils are sandy-loam with a limestone covering.
For its production, the grapes are cold macerated for 5 days in underground presses and a fermentation in new 500 litre French oak barrels.
After this process, Casa Castillo Valtosca is aged for 9 months in new French oak barrels.
