About Summa Varietalis

Summa Varietalis Barrica is a red wine made with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes from the winery's vineyards. The harvest is manual. After a long maceration for 4-5 weeks, the wine ages in new and semi-new French oak barrels from Allier. This wine is not clarified or filtered. A wine for ageing.
2008 Flavour is persistent, complex, very balanced.

Deep color, covered.

Elegant aromas, complex, forest fruits, mineral tones and spices.
2007 Powerful, fleshy, stimulating and tasty in the mouth. Good, elegant attack with a high concentration of fruit on the palate. Magnificent acidity, adding balance and definition. This wine is persistent, leaving nice roasted touches. A very interesting red wine.

Intense and pretty deep ruby colour, with abundant, fine, slow and elegant tears on the glass.

Medium-high intensity, concentrated and complex. Aromas of red fruit, floral nuances, notes of fine woods, roasted notes, tobacco, leather and spices. A very enjoyable nose with lots of nuances.
2006 In the mouth, this wine is fresh and tasty. It shows an elegant attack and a good mid palate with a high load of fruit. Its great acidity provides it with balance and liveliness. It is persistent and leaves toasted sensations. A very interesting Spanish wine.
