Régnard Chablis Grand Régnard is a monovarietal Chardonnay from the Appellation Chablis Contrôlée produced by Maison Régnard.
Maison Régnard is an old Chablis winery in Burgundy, founded in 1860. It is one of the last Chablis wineries that has all its cellars in the historic centre of the city, giving testimony of its noble past. It was acquired in 1984 by Baron Patrick Ladoucette, who took charge of the winery and continued to perpetuate and improve the style and typical nature of the wines.
The grapes for Régnard Chablis Grand Régnard come from vineyards that are some 30 years old, planted in clay and calcareous soils from the late Jurassic period. The harvest is carried out manually, and the grapes are gently pressed when they reach the cellar. Afterwards, they ferment and undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks to reduce the acidity a little and give the wine a touch of lactic acid.
Régnard Chablis Grand Régnard is a pleasant white wine made by a winery with a long Chablis tradition.
Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product
Régnard Chablis Grand Régnard 2017 has aromas of orange, lemon and grapefruit; spices, balsamic elements, eucalyptus, butter and toast. It has an unctuous and structured mouthfeel. It is a lingering and structured wine, with a good acidity that gives it a pleasant freshness.
