Characteristics Quíbia

Quíbia is a white wine from Mallorca, produced by the Ànima Negra winery. The winery is located southeast of the island of Mallorca, in Son Burguera, near the village of Felanitx.

Quíbia is made from native varieties Premsal Blanca and Callet (a red variety). The vineyards are cultivated by environmentally friendly methods.

For processing, the grapes are cooled on a cold bed on a bed of dry ice to avoid oxidation. They are then selected manually. After selecting, the must is fermented at a low temperature and aged on its lees for about 3 months in cement tanks.

Quíbia is a very special white wine, with limited production.

Fresh and tasty entry. Very mineral, citrus and herbaceous. Good acidity. Aftertaste is round and warm.

Pale yellow with green hues and coloured wax rim. Very clean and bright.

Medium intensity, citrus and herbal flavours. Mineral background and tropical touches.
In the mouth, it is light and fresh. This tasty wine shows abundant notes of white fruit and the same saline nuances noticed in the nose. It has an unctuous mid palate. This vintage is more fragrant than the previous. A wine from Mallorca with an excellent acidity, which provides the set with lots of freshness.

Pale yellow colour with greenish reflections and waxy edges. Very clean and very bright.

Different and original nasal aromas marked by its Mediterranean character. Its aromas of white fruit and citrus stand out along with its saline hints and some light tropical nuances on a mineral background.
In the palate, a light and fresh expression is perceived. It is a tasty Spanish wine with lots of white fruit and the same saline hints noticed on the nose. Excellent acidity which provides the whole set with freshness.

Different and original nose marked by its strong Mediterranean character. Some saline and citrus hints are noticed along with tropical fruits on a fresh mineral background.
Wine with a very nice and fresh attack and a dry, flavorful, complex and fresh mid palate. The notes of fruit are still noticed along with the saline aromas and a slightly piquant hint that provides the wine with a very different character. Balanced wine with a good acidity and a nice long but not very persistent finish.

Clear, bright and attractive pale yellow colour with steely reflections.

Delicate and intense aromas of white fruit with many citrus and some subtle notes of tropical fruits interspersed with smoky aromas and nuts. Intense and pleasant mineral background.
Fresh, elegant and varietal wine. Soft and delicate attack. A wine that grows in the mouth. Balanced. Dry, concentrated. Long and refreshing finish.

Straw yellow with golden reflections. Clean and bright.

Distinct Mediterranean character. Good intensity. Lots of fruit variety. Notes of white fruit and citrus emerge with a touch of pickles and some hints of tropical fruit. Vegetal notes with a floral background.
