About Parés Baltà Blanc de Pacs

Blanc de Pacs is a white wine from the Penedès, prepared by the Pares Balta family winery.

This winery, located in the municipality of Pacs del Penedès (Barcelona), is characterized by organic and biodynamic grape growing.

Blanc de Pacs is made from the three traditional varieties from Penedes: Xarel.lo, Parellada and Macabeo, from the Finca Les Torres at 616m in altitude, Finca Pares Balta, 254 m from the Finca Hisenda Miret, at 315 m.

For processing the must ferments at 16°C in stainless steel tanks for 2 weeks.

The blend of these three varieties creates a wine of great aromatic intensity and freshness.

2014 Fresh and powerful entry. Good acidity, intense and fruity. Long, pleasant and persistent finish.

2013 In the mouth this wine is fresh and has good acidity, with an intense fruity, fresh aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

2011 Fresh, dry and smooth. This is a tasty, intense and very nice wine with a slightly unctuous mid palate marked by the notes of fruit. It shows a good acidity and a nice and fresh finish.

Attractive and very bright pale yellow colour.

Good aromas with good intensity. The intense notes of white and tropical fruit (with lots of pineapples) are mixed with fresh citrus on a subtle herbal background.
2010 Fresh, dry and soft attack. Tasty and lightly glyceric mid palate, with a good presence of nice notes of fruit on a mineral background. Good acidity. Good and pleasant finish. A fresh young wine, soft and easy to drink.
