About Naia Prehistórico - Vino de Órbita

Centenarian vines on granite soils are the source of Naia Prehistórico - Vino de Órbita, a white wine crafted from the verdejo grape variety, adhering to a philosophy of highly respectful and minimally interventionist winemaking. 
 
In the DO Rueda region of Castilla y León, these 103-year-old vineyards are situated on sandy soils with granite outcrops, cultivated with respect and foresight for future generations who will inherit these vines. 
 
Specifically, Naia Prehistórico - Vino de Órbita is harvested in 15-kilogram boxes to prevent crushing and premature juicing of the grapes. Upon arrival at the Naia Prehistórico - Vino de Órbita winery, the grapes undergo a period of maceration in cold chambers after the finest bunches have been selected on sorting tables. Pressing follows, preceding spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels. Finally, Naia Prehistórico - Vino de Órbita rests on its lees for less than a year in barrels. Will you miss out on it?
