Vineyards over 75 years old are the origin of this wine, which is born in sandy soils with slate outcrops, cultivated entirely biodynamically. Few wines exist like Naia Prehistórico-Vino de Nieva that showcase the excellence of DO Rueda in this manner. 
 
The harvest of Naia Prehistórico-Vino de Nieva is carried out manually in small crates, no more than 15 kilograms, to ensure the grapes reach the winery in the best possible condition. Here, before proceeding to fermentation, the bunches are selected on a sorting table, and only the finest are pressed to obtain the must, which will later ferment in French oak barrels. To conclude, Naia Prehistórico-Vino de Nieva will rest for less than a year in contact with its lees in barrels.
