Louis Latour Chablis is a monovarietal Chardonnay white wine produced by Louis Latour in Chablis, Burgundy.
Louis Latour is a winery in Burgundy with more than two centuries of history. Eleven generations have been at the helm. The winery owns some 50 hectares. Louis Latour also acts as anegociant, i.e. it buys and vinifies grapes from third parties. The winery even has its own cooperage, and produces some 3,000 barrels per year.
The vineyards for Louis Latour Chablis have an average age of 30 years, and their soils are limestone from the end of the Jurassic period. The average production per hectare is 45 hl, and the grapes are harvested mechanically.
Louis Latour Chablis is produced in a traditional way in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation to make it creamier and less acidic. Lastly the wine remains in steel tanks for about 8 or 10 months.
Louis Latour Chablis is a pleasant, fruity and creamy Chardonnay with a lingering and enveloping finish.

Louis Latour Chablis 2017 has floral aromas with almond notes. On the palate it is fresh and creamy with aromas of chlorophyll. It has a pleasantly tense finish.
