Louis Latour Cuvée Latour Blanc is a monovarietal Chardonnay white wine produced by Maison Lois Latour in Burgundy.
Louis Latour is one of the most emblematic wineries in Burgundy. It was founded in 1797, and has been owned by the same family for more than two centuries and eleven generations. The only two castes it cultivates are the native Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties, and its vineyards are trained in "Guyot simple" to keep the plants balanced and achieve low yields that ensure a high quality grape.
The vineyards for Louis Latour Cuvée Latour Blanc have an average age of 30 years and are located in Meursault, Puligny and Chassagne. Their average yields are 45 hl per hectare, and the soils are limestone. The harvest is carried out manually.
Louis Latour Cuvée Latour Blanc is a wine made in a traditional way with grapes from three different vineyards. Once the alcoholic fermentation is carried out, the wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation to lower the high acidity and make it creamier. Lastly, Louis Latour Cuvée Latour Blanc is aged for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel tanks.
Louis Latour Cuvée Latour Blanc is a white wine of great consistency and finesse. Well balanced, tasty and complex.
