Gran Claustro Brut Nature Reserva is a Castillo de Perelada cava made from a coupage of selected grapes from vineyards in the D.O. Cava. It is made from Pinot Noir (43%), Chardonnay (43%) and Parellada (14%).

The must is vinified under controlled fermentation.

Gran Claustro is aged for more than fifteen months in the bottle before disgorgement.

In 1959, when D. Eisenhower, President of the United States, visited Spain, Castillo de Perelada was commissioned to select a cava for the reception dinner.

They chose a small reserve of their own that turned out to be a resounding success.

From that success, Gran Claustro was born.

This is a great cava: complex and balanced with fine bubbles.

Slightly fruity, dry and soft flavour with a great balance. In the mouth, it is large and long.
