About Taberner
Taberner is a red wine from V.T. Cádiz that is produced by Huerta de Albalá in Arcos de la Frontera.
Its location between the reservoir of Bornos and Sierra de Grazalema makes it an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of the vine, with a remarkable temperature contrast between day and night, and an annual rainfall of 900 mm, quite unusual for southern Spain.
This Taberner is a coupage of the varieties Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet, which are harvested by hand and fermented at a controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation, and before they are transferred to the barrels, the wine is clarified using egg whites. This wine is aged in French oak barrels where it remains for 12 months.Taberner is a mature wine that perfectly combines with the fruit and the spices provided by the grapes and the wood.
