San Román 2019 is a deep and complex red wine that offers aromas of very ripe red and black fruits on the nose, accompanied by notes of liquorice and earthy, balsamic and mineral nuances. The palate is full, very fruity and balanced. An exuberant red wine, with a long finish and exquisite elegance, with plenty of aging potential.

Maurodos is probably one of the first wine projects that showed the extraordinary potential of the vineyards and wines of Toro. Maurodos, popularly known by its brand San Román, the name of its most emblematic wine, carries the signature of Mariano García, one of the most respected oenologists in Spain. He worked thirty years as the technical head of Vega Sicilia, before he started his own projects: the first one in Ribera del Duero with Bodegas Mauro in 1980, and a few years later, in 1997, in Toro, with Maurodos, where he has 100 hectares of vineyard, planted mostly with the variety Tinta de Toro and Grenache.
