Príncipe de Viana Crianza is a red wine from the D.O Navarra produced by the winery Príncipe de Viana. This wine is a blend of Tempranillo (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Merlot (30%).

Each type of grape grows in a separate field. Tempranillo grows in El Carrascal de Caparroso, Cabernet Sauvignon in El Crucero Nº 3 de Cadreita and the varietal Merlot in El Crucero Nº 1.

The harvest for Príncipe de Viana Crianza is performed entirely by hand following a traditional method. The remaining process to produce the wine are also completed in this classic manner.

Príncipe de Viana Crianza is aged for 12 months in 225 litre French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels before being bottled.

In the bottle, Príncipe de Viana Crianza rests for a further additional 12 months before being released on to the market.
