About Maison Orcia Côtes du Rhône Rouge
Passion, knowledge and dedication. Under these three premises, the young négociant Jean Philippe Manchès travels through the best vineyards in France to obtain a quality raw material to produce refined, elegant and affordable wines. All this work has made him a true ambassador of winegrowers’ expertise and the best regions. A whole wine adventure that started in 2016 and now, with the name Maison Orcia, is winning over the toughest palates.
Among the most outstanding wines presented to us each vintage is Maison Orcia Côtes du Rhône Rouge, which comes from old vines planted on light sandy soils. 50 year old Grenache and Syrah vines that are traditionally grown and harvested by hand. In the winery, the grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed to begin fermentation in vats at a constant temperature of 25ºC. Finally, after malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in concrete and stainless steel tanks for a few months.
The result is Maison Orcia Côtes du Rhône Rouge, a delicious Côtes du Rhône (Rhône) with an impressive value for money. A light, fresh and inviting red that is very easy to drink and very easy to get your hands on.
