Gramona Pinot Noir Brut Rosat is a rosé Corpinnat wine produced by the Gramona winery in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
Gramona was founded in 1881 in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the epicenter of D.O. sparkling wine. After more than 130 years of experience in producing both sparkling wines and wines, the fifth generation is currently in charge of the business, continuing with the family tradition and the philosophy they have applied in focusing their work on the winery over the years.
Over the past few years, Gramona has evolved in terms of the way it treats its vineyards, moving into organic agriculture and biodynamics, achieving the maximum balance of the vines with their surroundings, and in doing so infusing all its wines with character and uniqueness.
Gramona Pinot Noir Brut Rosat is a sparkling wine made with Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards owned by the members of the Alianzas por la tierra group, made up of 12 wine growers who have worked since 2015 applying the same philosophy of respecting the environment, seeking to vitalize the land and the landscape to which it belongs.
After being harvested manually, once in the winery the grapes pass along the selection table. Once the grape enters by gravity, a gentle maceration is performed and a draw off that will vary according to the vintage. Once the wine is obtained, it undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle with a minimum aging of 25 months. After the disgorgement the tirage liqueur is added with 6 grams of sugar per liter.
Perfect for enjoying with any type of aperitif Gramona Pinot Noir Brut Rosat 2019 is a dry sparkling wine (with 6 g/L of sugar). The nose is intense with hints of red fruits (blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry, watermelon), stone fruit (peach), citrus, thyme, lavender and violets. On the palate it is structured, fresh and lively. Crisp and very well integrated bubbles.
