A wine made by Enrique Mendoza that shows the strong character of the Petit Verdot. It has a very large and bulky attack and a powerful, fleshy and silky mid palate. Its mineral and herbal notes are noticed over the aromas of fruit. Tannins are ripe and important (perhaps they lack polishing) and it has a very long and good acidity and a long and lingering finish with a touch bitter, typical of the variety.
A very tannic and very good wine, with a great future.
Intense red colour with violet edges. High layer. Clean and bright. Dense legs.
Intense and concentrated aromas, with notes of very ripe macerated fruits, along with good and elegant notes of wood. It has lots of character and hints of mineral soils and wet undergrowth. When it opens up, subtle hints of pepper, liquorice and a slight hint of citrus are released.
