Clos Lentiscus Rosé N 41 is a naturally aged sparkling wine made by Clos Lentiscus in the D.O. Penedès (Catalonia) with the Samsó variety.
Located in the Garraf Natural Park (Barcelona), Clos Lentiscus is a family estate that dates back to the 14th century. A total of 10 generations of winemakers have passed through, all of whom worked to convey the full history and personality of the land. To do this, they have all used old vines and recovered native varieties, making wine using traditional methods.
Clos Lentiscus Rosé N 41 comes from sandy and calcareous terrain. These are ancient vineyards surrounded by a Mediterranean forest and growing alongside the animal community. Biodynamic agriculture is practiced with no artificial products that could harm the soil’s natural state. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.
In the winery, the Clos Lentiscus Rosé N 41 grapes are cold macerated for 24 months and then carefully pressed. Then fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts and ends with a second fermentation in the bottle with its fine lees for 60 months and a residual sugar of less than 2 g/l.
Clos Lentiscus Rosé N 41 is a sparkling wine with the character and personality of a place with a story to tell. A 100% Mediterranean sparkling wine.
