Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature 2018 unveils an alluring amber yellow hue, and its effervescence is characterized by fine, enduring bubbles. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of ripe fruits such as apple and pear, interlaced with hints of dried fruits and a distinctive toasted bread aroma, a result of its meticulous aging process. Upon tasting, one experiences a sparkling wine that is both fruity and creamy, with an impeccably balanced acidity leading to a protracted, dry finish, all the while maintaining a vivacity that beckons further enjoyment.

About Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature

Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature is an ecological Brut Nature sparkling wine of long aging made from the Xarel·lo and Macabeo varieties by Can Descregut under the collective mark of quality Corpinnat (Catalonia). 
 
Located in the heart of the Penedès, in the town of Vilobí del Penedès, Arantxa de Cara and Marc Milà transmit the land’s identity through their wines and sparkling wines. Under the brand name Can Descregut, the original name of the farmhouse where they make their creations, they’re committed to local varieties, craftsmanship and organic production. 
 
Specifically, Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature comes from a place called La Pineda. Vineyards where the soils are mainly clay-limestone and have a rich presence of gypsum. Certified organic, no herbicides or insecticides are used. In exchange, organic and biodynamic techniques are used to guarantee the natural balance of the terroir and the vine. 
 
In the cellar, Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature is vinified using the champenoise method and responding to criteria of minimum intervention. For this, initially a first spontaneous fermentation is carried out with native yeasts, without excessive filtering or clarification, and then a second fermentation is carried out in the bottle where it’s aged on lees for a minimum of 55 months. Disgorging is carried out on demand, with the date marked on the back label, and without the addition of sugars or sulphites.
 
Under the collective brand Corpinnat, Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature is a great sparkling wine elaborated under demanding commitments of rigor and quality. A great Corpinnat that enters through the senses to stay pleasantly in the memory.

Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature 2016 is a creamy sparkling wine boasting intense aromas of pineapple, ripe apple, and peach, complemented by an undercurrent of herbaceous notes. On the palate, it is dry, crisp, and exceedingly pleasant. This Corpinnat features a delicate and enduring effervescence that is seamlessly integrated, a distinctly pronounced acidity, and a most appealing mineral finish.

2015 Can Descregut Memòria Brut Nature 2015 is a creamy sparkling wine whose nose shows ripe yellow fruit, herbal notes and elegant toasted hints. On the palate, it has a surprisingly fruity attack, an unctuous passage and very well integrated acidity. The finish is dry, long lasting and deliciously mineral.
