Traditionally, winemaking in the D.O. Almansa was limited to bulk productions for export outside Spain. Fortunately, this all changed in 1966 when the denomination was founded, which now includes 12 wineries.

La Atalaya del Camino is a coupage of Monastrell and Garnacha (the area’s queen variety) fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in wood.
