Characteristics Borsao Bole
Borsao Bole is a red wine from Campo de Borja prepared by Borsao, a winery that was founded in 1958, although it was not until 1981 when the first bottles of wine were sold.
The climate in the Campo de Borja is continental, characterized by cold, windy winters and summers with high temperatures due to the Mediterranean influence. Thanks to the temperature variation between seasons and the day and night, wines with good acidity are produced. Thermal contrasts benefit the ripening of the grapes. This wine is a blend of Grenache (70%) and Syrah (30%) from vineyards between 15-30 years of age. The vineyards are located on high slopes, at an altitude of between 350 and 800 meters above sea level. The soils are clay-calcareous, stony and muddy. As for the process, fermentation is carried out separately for each variety separately in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of between 22-26 ° C. Finally, Borsao Bole remains three months in Bordeaux French oak.

Others wines Borsao
In a relatively short time, Bodegas Borsao has gone from being one of the examples of the wine growing stagnation of some Aragonese cooperatives, to being among the best examples of a company with an intelligent renovation. Although Bodegas Borsao, founded in 1958, is still a cooperative with more than 400 members who cultivate and control more than 1,500 hectares of vineyard, the new wines not only brought a breath of fresh air to Campo de Borja, but they also meant a new beginning for many other Aragonese wines: modernity.
