The winemaking tradition Ycoden-Daute-Isora is inseparable with the history of the Canary Islands and has conditioned the customs, landscape, history, art and culture of the area. The landscape of the route shows signs of a rich biodiversity and recent volcanic activity in the eighteenth and twentieth centuries. The legacy of the ancient Aboriginal remains latent in slopes and gullies, where they settled, as well as in customs, and delicacies, activities and rich heritage that the nine municipalities that comprise (Icod de los Vinos, San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, El Tanque, Garachico, Los Silos, Buenavista, Santiago del Teide and Guía de Isora) offer.
