Viña Zorzal Chardonnay

Viña Zorzal Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, D.O. Navarra.

Bodegas Zorzal was founded in 1989 with the purpose of rescuing the indigenous varieties of the area, with the philosophy that wine is born in the vineyard.

Currently, they own 40 hectares located near the municipality of Fitero. Here, the soft relief forms a small oasis between all the vineyards of the lower bank of the Ebro river, giving them extra freshness. 25 of these hectares are planted with Grenache. The rest are planted with Graciano and Tempranillo, with white varieties like the White Grenache.

 Viña Zorzal Chardonnay is a wine made from 100% Chardonnay, from a vineyard located in Fitero. Harvest is performed by hand and at night. Once the harvest arrives at the winery, and after a soft pressing and a natural cold clarification, the must ferments in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature, 14ºC-15ºC. Once the fermentation has ended, the wine is racked, filtered and stabilised. Bottled when it is still young.
