The most roguish version of vermouth

Vermouth El Bandarra is a classic vermouth, mahogany in color, with orange reflections. On the nose, liquorice stands out, combined with aromas of mountain herbs, spices and cinnamon. Characteristics Vermut El Bandarra
From bulk wine, to exports to the US and UK, to the fall in Cava and wine consumption.
In these brief introductory lines one could summarize the history of the Virgili family, who in 1962 acquired the centenary winery Casa Berger (today Democratic Wines), one of the oldest in Barcelona (northeastern Spain), which began making wines in 1878. Now the lines of this story are written by the brothers Àlex, Albert and Jordi (better known as the Virgili Bros), the third generation of this house which has diversified its production. With more than 40% of its sales, the star now is Vermut El Bandarra.
Vermut El Bandarra is a vermouth macerated with a base wine of Xarello and Macabeo grapes, infused with 50 botanical species such as clove, cinnamon and bitter orange. After this, Vermut El Bandarra is fortified and sweetened with a touch of caramel, and then aged in oak barrels with solera -original from 1962-where it will stay for 2 months.
Finally, its reusable bottle, with a retro design reminiscent of the menus advertised in the windows of the bars make Vermut El Bandarra a must which shouldn’t be missed.
