Txakoli Rezabal

Txakolí Rezabal is a monovarietal Hondarribi Zuri white wine from the Rezabal winery in the D.O. Getariako-Txakolina.

Rezabal is a young winery that uses new technologies to make txakolí, based on traditional techniques. The winery was founded in 1996, within the D.O. Getariako-Txacolina. It markets two brands, Rezabal and Arri, made with the two native varieties, Hondarrabi-Zuri and Hondarrabi-Beltza. These varieties, together with the microclimate of the Zarautz area, allow the Rezabal winery to produce wines with their own personality.

The grapes used to make Txakolí Rezabal are of the native variety from the Hondarribi Zuri area. This is a variety that produces smooth, velvety and delicate wines, and that provides subtle aromas and produces balanced Txakolís. The vineyards are located on slopes in Zarauz, next to the sea. The vineyards are conducted using the traditional high vine trellis system to obtain a good leaf surface that guarantees good ripening and allows the bunches to aerate to avoid fungal diseases.

Txakolí Rezabal is a fresh, cheerful and friendly wine that invites you to take it as an aperitif and accompany it with seafood entrees.
