2019
Red wine Aged in wood. 12 months in French oak barrels and concrete deposits.
Ternario 1 2019 is introduced as a youthful and light red wine, perfect for those who relish uncomplicated fruity flavours. On the nose, it unfolds a spectrum of fresh aromas reminiscent of red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, complemented by a delicate hint of dark fruits. On the palate, its texture is smooth and eminently quaffable, delivering a vivacity that beckons another taste. An unpretentious wine, ideal for enjoyment at any given time.

About Ternario 1
For years his wines were just sold in bulk and not very highly thought of. This is changing, and the D.O. Almansa is investing money and effort in positioning itself as one of the denominations with the most potential in Spain.
In this area, southeast of Albacete in Castilla-La Mancha, they make Ternario 1, a young red wine produced by the Venta La Vega winery within the D.O. Almansa.
The unique feature that makes this region so special is its altitude: 700 metres above sea level. The result is clear to see in the grapes used to make Ternario 1. They are grown in the 1000 hectares (230 of them organic) of Venta La Vega where clay-limestone soil grows vines over 25 years old.
Under the supervision of winemaker Raúl Pérez, the Ternario collection is born in this land. This is a limited range of 3 wines where the Garnacha is the undisputed queen. Of these, Ternario 1 stands out. It is made by fermenting whole clusters and macerating with the skins for a month and a half. It is then racked into barrels and concrete tanks, where it will spend 10 months.
According to the experts, the D.O. Almansa is on a par with other more prestigious and famous areas, like California and Australia. Ternario 1 is made in Spain, straight from the Mediterranean. This is the best wine to discover the wonders of this region.
