Some thought they were a congregation of nuns devoted to viticulture. Others believed they constituted a cooperative of farmers' wives. Who would have imagined that in Italy, amid the 1980s, two sisters could independently take the helm of the family winery? What sort of scandal was this? Forty years on, many of those mouths have been silenced by a few glasses of their wines and sparkling varieties. Surely, more than one has had to eat their words with Sorelle Bronca Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Particella 232 Nature, one of the finest creations from Sorelle Bronca.
 
Nestled in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, in the north of Italy, within the Veneto region, Sorelle Bronca boasts approximately 14 hectares of vineyard. At the forefront are sisters Antonella and Ersiliana, assisted by Piero (Antonella's husband) and Elisa (Ersiliana's daughter and oenologist). It's an all-family affair. And no one knows better than they do the passion that imbues every corner of these hills, where even a mere glimpse of the landscapes surrounding the vineyards is breathtaking. And this is all before even uncorking a bottle. Nonetheless, no one said it would be easy, and in this location, hard work is paramount to advance production. The vines grow between 270 and 310 meters above sea level on clay soils, which are tended and protected to ensure their longevity for another 40 years or more. This is where the meticulous and loving care that Sorelle Bronca invests into each task becomes crucial, working manually without the use of any chemicals or pesticides. In the case of Sorelle Bronca Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Particella 232 Nature, the grapes flourish in the Farrò di Follina vineyard, situated on flat land surrounded by trees and forests, featuring a very distinctive and unique terroir.

Here, the production begins with a sequential pressing of the whole grapes, which is only feasible after having previously selected the finest clusters.
