Characteristics Señorío de P. Peciña Tinto Cosecha
Señorío de P. Peciña Tinto Cosecha is a young red wine made by Hermanos Peciña with Tempranillo and Graciano varieties in the D.O.Ca. Rioja (Spain).
Hermanos Peciña was founded in 1997 in the town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the heart of Rioja Alta. Over time, it has become a large winery that produces an average of 500,000 bottles per year. They make Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva wines that reflect the wisdom and passion that the Peciña family has for this world-renowned wine region.
Señorío de P. Peciña Tinto Cosecha comes from the youngest vineyards in the winery. These are vines planted around the winery, in clay-calcareous soil and at an altitude of over 400 metres above sea level. When the grapes reach their optimum ripeness, they are harvested manually in 15 kg boxes.
When the Señorío de P. Peciña Tinto Cosecha grapes reach the winery, they are sorted on the selection table. The grapes then macerate in stainless steel tanks for approximately 14 days and ferment with native yeasts. Finally, the wine rests for 6 months in used barrels with three natural decantation rackings.
Señorío de P. Peciña Tinto Cosecha is a young red wine that is characterised by the typical fruity aromas of the Tempranillo variety. Easy to drink with a delicious fruity character.
