S.A. Prüm Solitär Riesling Trocken is a white wine made by S.A. Prüm with the Riesling variety in the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, in Mosel (Germany).
Located on the banks of the German river Moselle, S.A. Prüm is a family estate that, generation after generation, has been cultivating vineyards and producing quality wines. Now run by Raimund Prüm and his daughter Saskia, they have become true specialists in great Riesling wines that stand out for their purity, freshness and great fruit expression.
S.A. Prüm Solitär Riesling Trocken comes from native vines planted on steep slopes. These vines are planted in blue slate soils and because they have very deep roots, the water supply is scarce and the plant yield is low. The vines are cultivated using environmentally-friendly agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness.
The grapes are manually selected and then taken to the winery, they are destemmed and gently pressed. The resulting must used to make S.A. Prüm Solitär Riesling Trocken ferments at a controlled temperature of less than 15ºC.
S.A. Prüm Solitär Riesling Trocken is the result of the perfect combination of traditional methodology and state-of-the-art viticulture. It is an authentic high-class Riesling wine for a very good price.
