About Quintaluna

Quintaluna is an ecological white wine from Rueda made by Bodegas Ossian, which was founded by Javier Zaccagnini (who in turn is a part owner of Bodegas Aalto). It is a varietal Verdejo.

The grapes used for Quintaluna come in part from vines between 100 and 200 years old (60% of the total) and partly (40%) from young vines certified by the Organic Farming Council of Castile and Leon.

Quintaluna, after passing through the winemaking process, spends two months with its lees in stainless steel. During this time, there are periodic movements.

Bodegas Ossian was established in order to produce the best wines with Verdejo grapes from Spain. They use organic farming or "Logical Agriculture" as they like to call it, only organic fertilisers and natural products are used.
