Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Tinto is a D.O. Alicante wine produced by the Casa Agrícola winery with local monastrell, alicante bouschet and giró varieties.

Casa Agrícola is an initiative by Pepe Mendoza and his wife. For 25 years Pepe was the oenologist forEnrique Mendoza, one of the most important wineries in the D.O. Alicante, before embarking on this new project with its commitment to the native properties of Spain’s East Coast and the most sustainable agricultural techniques.

The varieties used to make Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Tinto wine are grown organically and in a sustainable manner, applying traditional techniques that respect the vine and the environment. The winemaking takes place in 10,000 kg tanks. The whole grain and the stems are included, in order to respect the fruit as much as possible. Native yeasts are used for fermentation, and it is aged for six months in French oak barrels with a highly measured wood contribution.
