Paco & Lola is a white wine produced by the winery Paco & Lola, in Meaño (Pontevedra), within D.O. Rías Baixas.
Paco & Lola is a young and modern winery founded in 2005 by a group of viticulturers and wine producers of the region of O Salnés who came together as a cooperative under the name Sociedad Cooperativa Vitivinícola Arousana. Currently, the cooperative has over 400 members, and it is the one with the most partners in Rías Baixas.
Paco & Lola has more than 200 hectares of its own vineyards divided into over 1800 plots, all located in Valle do Salnés.
Since 2010, Paco & Lola is part of Proyecto Life Viñas Atlánticas, a project that involves all partners to minimise the use of chemical products.
Paco & Lola is a white wine made with Albariño from vineyards located in the sub-area of Valle de Salnés. These vineyards are planted on sandy-loam, granitic and slightly acid soils.
The harvest is carried out manually in 20-kg boxes. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are destemmed and pressed. Then, they ferment in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature, 16 for 21 days. The wine remains on its fine lees until the stabilisation and the final bottling.

Tasting notes Paco & Lola
Paco & Lola 2018 is an aromatic, light and crunchy wine. On the nose, it is very aromatic, with citrus white fruit aromas that stand out, and with floral notes; slightly tropical. In the mouth, it is easy to drink, with a sweet entry, and a long and fresh finish.
Paco & Lola 2017 is a Rías Baixas with an aromatic profile. In this excellent vintage, they have managed to extract the full potential of tropical fruits with a background of green grass, very characteristic of the Albariño variety. A wine with a refreshing acidity that combines perfectly with its aromatic side.
Powerful and tasty entry. The fruit is very present. Fresh step with good acidity and nice texture. Fruity aftertaste and some citrus.

Paco & Lola is a very fresh and lively wine, with a wide and very tasty attack. It shows an excellent palate, with some unctuous notes. Marked notes of fruit. Good structure and lively acidity. Long finish with a marked varietal character.
