About Paco & Lola Lolo Albarino
Lolo is a white wine of the Albariño variety produced by the Paco & Lola winery in the D.O. Rías Baixas.
If this young and modern winery stands out for anything it is for the image with which they decorate their creations. Paco & Lola are known as the polka dot wines. In fact, a group of vine growers and wine producers located in the prestigious Albariño production sub-area ofVal do Salnés (Galicia) decided to professionalise their production by forming a cooperative in 2005; an initiative that is going from strength to strength, and that has already become the largest in the D.O. Rías Baixas with 430 members.
Lolo is produced entirely with young vineyards located in the Val do Salnés; strains that are planted in loamy-sandy, granitic and slightly acidic soils and that provide the Albariño variety with aromatic potential and remarkable acidity. The harvest is carried out manually and placed in 20kg boxes.
Once in the winery the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Lolo ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 16 and 18ºC for 21 days.
Lolo is a young and daring Albariño wine that combines the passion for a variety with the attraction of its design.
