About Morca Garnacha
Morca Garnacha is a monovarietal Grenache produced by Bodegas Morca in the D.O. Campo de Borja.
Bodegas Morca is located in the town of Borja, Zaragoza. It is a project undertaken by Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares and Gil Vera.
The grapes for Morca Garnacha come from small plots with low yields that have been picked by hand. The grapes are fermented separately in small stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine is then put into French oak barrels to complete the malolactic fermentation, and remains there ageing for 20 months. Lastly each barrel is tasted, and after a careful selection, a limited production of this wine is obtained.
