Characteristics Godina Garnacha
Godina Garnacha is a monovarietal Grenache produced by Bodegas Morca in the D.O. Campo de Borja.
Bodegas Morca is located in the town of Borja, in Zaragoza. It is the project run by Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares and Gil Vera in Campo de Borja.
The grapes for Godina Garnacha come from small plots with low yields. The plots are harvested by hand and fermented separately in small stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine is then put into French oak barrels to complete the malolactic fermentation, and remains there ageing for 15 months. Lastly each barrel is tasted and, after a careful selection, a limited production of this wine is obtained.
Real reviews from customers who have purchased this product
Godina Garnacha 2015 has moderately intense aromas of spices, licorice and plums, with light floral and toasted notes. Its ripe tannins offer a mouthfeel with a silky texture, that is well balanced and with a lingering finish.
