About Familia Torres Milmanda
Familia Torres Milmanda is an exquisite white wine from the D.O. Conca de Barberà, crafted by the esteemed winery Familia Torres.
Milmanda was named after one of the medieval castles that provided sanctuary to Christians during the times of the Reconquista (10th to 12th centuries). In times of peace, the surrounding lands were dedicated to viticulture, yielding splendid results. Presently, the Torres family cultivates the Chardonnay variety at the foot of the castle.
The wine Familia Torres Milmanda, a single-varietal of Chardonnay, is a testament to this ancient legacy.
Its production involved fermentation in small new French oak barrels. Subsequently, Familia Torres Milmanda underwent a maturation period of 12 months.
Familia Torres Milmanda is a highly esteemed and revered white wine in Spain. Such is its prestige that it has been selected for numerous royal celebrations by the Spanish Royal Household.

Familia Torres Milmanda 2020 unfolds a nuanced elegance with a well-defined structure. As one brings it closer to the nose, warm emanations of roasted pears and apricots emerge, interwoven with sweet hints of custard and a delicate whisper of tart dough. On the palate, the presence of macadamia nuts is discernible, imparting a creamy texture that is counterbalanced by the zest of lemons and a mineral sensation akin to crushed stones. This white wine is a gentle, harmonious embrace with each sip.
