Izadi Larrosa Rosado 2023 is unveiled with a subtly enchanting hue, reminiscent of the finesse of rose petals in the glass. About Izadi Larrosa

Izadi Larrosa is a rosé wine produced by Bodegas Izadi in Villabuena de Álava, D.O.Ca.Rioja.

 

Bodegas Izadi was founded in 1987 by a group of businessmen, and friends, lead by Gonzalo Antón. It is currently part of the Artevino wine group, integrated by Finca Villacreces, Orben, Vetus and Izadi itself.

Bodegas Izadi has 178 hectares of vineyards, planted in micro-plots that are located in a triangle formed by the villages of Villanueva, Samaniego and Ábalos. These 50-year-old vines are planted on poor soils, with low yields, which enhance the features of the area and the variety.

The entire vineyard is cultivated according to the criteria of integrated wine growing, respecting the natural conditions of the vineyard and the surroundings to the maximum extent.

 

Izadi Larrosa is a wine made from Grenache, from a vineyard that is over 50 years old, located at 790 metres of altitude on a hillside with clayey-calcareous soils.

The harvest is carried out manually. Once it arrives at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and slightly crushed. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel deposits after a soft maceration.
