About Entresuelos
Entresuelos is a red wine from Castilla y León made by Bodegas Tridente, a cellar belonging to the Bodegas Juan Gil Family group. It is a varietal Tinto de Toro.
Bodegas Tridente is a small winery located in Villanueva de Campeán, about 30 km from Zamora. Its wines, mainly made from Tinta de Toro, are of high quality.
Bodegas Tridente has more than 30 plots of old vines, some of which are over 100 years old. Entresuelos was established from vineyards located in the towns of El Pego and Villanueva de Campeán in Zamora.
Entresuelos grapes are harvested manually. After being transported to the winery, they undergo a subsequent maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25° for about 15 days.
Entresuelos then goes through malolactic fermentation in tanks.
Finally, before bottling, Entresuelos ages for 6 months in French oak barrels.
