In our view, who appreciate these wines for their harmonious balance and meticulous precision, Domaine des Quatre Piliers Chapitre I epitomizes near perfection, a seamless cycle where every aspect of its production is intentionally crafted. Its journey begins amidst the 10 hectares meticulously tended by winemaker Valentin Desloges in the A.O.C Touraine, nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley. The estate, situated in the village of Noyers-sur-Cher, is comprised of 25 diminutive plots, each scarcely an hectare in size, where varietals such as sauvignon blanc, chenin blanc, pinot noir, and malbec (locally referred to as côt) are cultivated. The estate is bisected by the river Cher, a tributary of the Loire, which undeniably breathes life not only into the vines but also into the surrounding ecosystem. The entirety of this ecosystem is conscientiously preserved at Domaine des Quatre Piliers, always with an ecological and biodynamic approach, where even the most inconsequential insect plays a role in the vineyard. The vines of Domaine des Quatre Piliers Chapitre I are rooted on the right bank, an area rich in flint sand and white clay (overlying a limestone bedrock some 20 to 25 meters deep).

The life cycle of Domaine des Quatre Piliers Chapitre I continues with meticulous hand harvesting, ensuring the integrity of the sauvignon blanc grapes from which Domaine des Quatre Piliers Chapitre I is crafted. From the fields, all clusters are transported to the winery, which is nestled within the tuffeau caves, maintaining a consistently cool temperature throughout both the vinification and maturation processes.
