About Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Poulsard Pinte Bien
Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Poulsard Paint Well is a monovarietal Poulsard red wine from the AOC Arbois produced by Domaine de la Pinte.
Domaine de la Pinte is a family winery run by the second generation that has 34 hectares of vineyards planted mainly on blue marl soils at about 400 metres above sea level in Arbois and Pupillin. They have farmed organically since 1999 and biodynamically since 2009, and they produce wines that are singular and highly typical.
The soils of the vineyards for Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Poulsard Paint Well are composed of red Triassic marls. They are grown biodynamically and are harvested manually. The Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Poulsard Paint Well harvest is destemmed completely. It ferments with native yeasts and in contact with the skins, and the wine macerates with them for 18 days. After the malolactic fermentation the wine is aged for 6 months in 54 hectolitre concrete vats.
Domaine de la Pinte Arbois Poulsard Paint Well is a light, fruity and spicy red wine made with Poulsard, the native grape of the Jura.
