About Cune Reserva

Cune Reserva is a red wine from D.O la Rioja produced by the winery CVNE. It is a blend of the varieties Tempranillo (85%) and Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo (15% between the 3)
The grape from Cune Reserva is born from the vineyards that are situated in the La Rioja Alta. The harvest is carried out manually by hand with the utmost care.
In the winery, Cune Reserva goes through the alcoholic fermentation stage that lasts for 10 days. After which, the wine is then subjected to the malolactic fermentation process.
Cune Reserva finally rests in French and American oak barrels for around 2 years.
Cune Reserva is in this instance Is treated naturally before being bottled and left to rest for approximately an additional year.
CVNE is a family run winery founded in 1879 in the town of Haro, in la Rioja. Currently the 5th generation of the family are managing the business since appearing in 1997 on the stock exchange.

Cune Reserva 2018 is an exquisite wine. This red unveils on the nose an array of intricate and refined aromas, starting with smoked meat and culminating with hints of bark. On the palate, it is expansive and velvety, endowed with exceptionally delicate tannins. Spicy and delectable with notes of orange zest. The finish is enduring.

2017

Cune Reserva 2017 is a quintessential red wine. Olfactorily, it is exceptionally intense, showcasing a mélange of forest fruits and liquorice, interwoven with a symphony of wood-derived scents including spices, vanilla, and aniseed nuances. On the palate, it is velvety, boasting seamlessly integrated tannins. It exudes elegance and finesse, replete with fruit-driven and balsamic flavours. The finish is prolonged and satisfying.

2016 Cune Reserva 2016 is a mature red wine exuding scents of ripe red fruits, sweet spiced undertones, and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is refined, silky, and sophisticated. A flavorful wine featuring polished tannins and seamlessly integrated acidity. The finish is vibrant, approachable, and encompassing.
2011 Fleshly, fresh and structured, strong in character. Tannins are polished and pleasant retro-nasal aromas.

Intense garnet red and bright

Notes of wild fruits combined with a hint of vanilla and coconut typical of the maturing process.
2010 On the palate, it is a wine with character and polished tannins which provide fleshiness and structure. At retro-olfaction, aromas of liquorice and anise are noticed, giving you the freshness to continue drinking.
