Coravin Aerator is an accessory used to oxygenate wine with the Coravin system. 

 

 

The Coravin aerator attaches to the Coravin system to lightly oxygenate the wine that is extracted. This aerator mixes the right amount of air and wine in each extraction, allowing the wine to aerate on its way to the glass. This prevents long waits while decanting.

 

The Coravin system was created by Greg Lambert, an engineer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, when his wife became pregnant and stopped drinking wine. The passion of this engineer for good wines along with the need to avoid wasting the rest of the wine from bottles he uncorked and did not finish, led him to design a prototype that has revolutionised the world of wine. Since then, we are able to enjoy great wines without having to finish the entire bottle.
