Carmelo Rodero Reserva is a red wine from Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Rodero. The winery is located in Pedrosa del Duero (Burgos).
Carmelo Rodero Reserva is made with the Tinta del Pais (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The grapes come from old vines over 30 years old on the 80 hectares that the winery has in Pedrosa de Duero, Boada de Roa Roa and Mambrilla Castrejon.
Carmelo Rodero Reserva is made the traditional way. Both the maceration and alcoholic fermentation are performed at controlled temperature.
Aging, meanwhile, lasts 21 months in French oak barrels.
Finally, it spends 24 months in bottle to finish rounding.
