Benoit Lahaye Grand Cru Brut Nature is a biodynamic Champagne made with the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties by Benoit Lahaye in Champagne.

Benoit Lahaye is one of today’s leading Champagne producers. It belongs to a small group of winemakers who are revolutionising the area with completely respectful work in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the winery. It is located in the Bouzy Grand Cru (Reims Mountain) and has about 5 hectares of vineyards that are entirely biodynamically cultivated.

The Benoit Lahaye Grand Cru Brut Nature vineyards are certified biodynamic and ecological. These are strains with an average age of 35 years old, planted in calcareous soils and cultivated in the most natural way possible. To do this, instead of using herbicides, they use plant treatments and instead of working the soil with machinery, they use horses. The grape and vintage selection is manual.

The Benoit Lahaye Grand Cru Brut Nature selected grapes ferment spontaneously with native yeasts. It then ages for 10 months in a 205-litre barrel. Finally, it ages in the bottle for 30 months without adding sugar or sulphur.

Benoit Lahaye Grand Cru Brut Nature is a complex and mature Champagne that is made with the most up-to-date winemaking methods. And this means maximum respect and minimal intervention.
