Bàrbara Forés Negre 2021 is a red wine with a deep cherry hue and intense violet reflections. On the nose, it is distinguished by its fruity aromas, prominently featuring ripe cherry and other red fruits, accompanied by balsamic notes, undergrowth, vanilla, and a hint of rosemary. On the palate, it is fleshy and rounded, with mature tannins that lend it a smoothness. Its acidity is well integrated, giving it a long and concentrated finish, perfect for enjoying on any occasion.

About Bàrbara Forés Negre
Bàrbara Forés Negre is a red wine from Terra Alta, prepared by the Bàrbara Forés winery.
Bàrbara Forés Negre is a blend of Garnacha Negra and, in smaller proportions, Syrah and Carignan.
They come from the vineyards are located at an altitude of between 350 and 600m in the municipality of Gandesa (Tarragona).
The vineyard is cultivated with only natural products.
The production of Bàrbara Forés Negre begins with a manual grape harvest between 13 and 26 September.
Once in the cellar, a fermentation is performed in stainless steel at a temperature of 22-36º for 18 days. Finally, the wine undergoes a fermentative maceration for 25 days.
Finally, it ages for 12 months in French Allier oak barrels of 300 litres.

2012 | Meaty and enveloping. Round and ripe tannins. Light and pleasant step. Aftertaste is persistent and slightly acidic. Intense and deep red with violet tones. Good intensity, with aromas of ripe fruits. Floral and spicy notes on a mineral and balsamic background. |

2010 | Very nice, fresh and fruity attack. It shows a tasty mid palate, with some fruit notes complemented with notes of toasted wood which provide this wine with a very expressive smoothness. 2008 | Very nice and fresh wine, with a smooth and tasty mid palate. The notes of fruit are very balanced with spicy and wooden aromas. Its tannins are ripe and it has a good finish that leaves nice final toasted and cocoa hints. Cherry red colour with violet reflections. Clean and bright wine. A wide range of notes of red and black fruits are noticed along with a subtle touch of citrus on an intense spicy background, with mineral notes and very expressive nice hints of cocoa. |
